Jean, John,Kate and all the Slowey family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers are with you all.

Mr. Slowey was a great man! He was such a good example
of kindness to me and my family. This past summer he would bring us fruits and vegetables almost every week. He is the best neighbor we've ever had. We've only known him less than a year, but we will miss him greatly!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with the Slowey family at this time.

Dear Slowey family; although we never met, your mother was my Godmother. She used to babysit for my older brothers, Tom and Peter, when my parents were first married. They were a part of our family gatherings for many years. I still have the birthstone ring they gave me as a gift for my high school graduation in 1965.
I looked forward to their Christmas card every year until your Mom passed away. Your dad sent me a note after the holidays to let me know she had died. They were awesome...
