What an amazing life he lead! My husband and I remember him from Kroehler in the 70´s. We remember a really nice guy who talked to anyone and everyone. (Shouldn´t you have added garlic to the breakfast menu?). We were talking about the old Kroehler days and decided to look for Dick´s obit. I´m glad we did. Annie, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Rich was a sweet man. I will always remember him. This is Paula Ryan. I remember the days when he taught me the dial-a-ride , we had so much fun. He will be missed very much.

I had the honor of meeting Rich at Septran bus company after I retired from Kraft Foods six years ago. Whenever I would see Dick he had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. We often talked about family, work and his time he spent during World War 2. I always found this so fascinating because my dad was involved with D-day and he never liked to talk about his experiences while in France and Germany.

I had hoped to take Rich out for lunch last month but he wanted to wait for...
