Rick was a wonderful man loved his grand kids and his loving wife Dona. We went to his house and he helped Steve remove their swing set. Last time I saw him was at a little league game with his grandson playing against my grandson.. We laughed that what a way to meet up again... Gonna miss you Rick and hope you you got your wings and will be watching over Dona....

I’m so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. He was one of my favorite coworkers out of my many years at Franchise Tax Board. Rick, Rob A., and I shared many laughs while working together on our small programming team, ‘back in the day’. Later on I got to know Dona as part of our working ladies lunch group, where we heard all about Rick & Dona’s many travels and also their life on the farm. My deceased husband Bob Carras and I had fond memories of Rick. My son Mike and Mike Snow played soccer and baseball together. We had fun times at the Zimmerman Ranch and in 1990 a group of us went to Mexico together. A great fun trip. The last time I saw Rick was around maybe February.... at Total Wine in Elk Grove . Rick was getting his whiskey and I was getting a bottle of champagne. We talked, laughed and reminisced. He told me about his wonderful ranch and about his loving wife Dona....
