Read MoreI am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Somers. He was my history teacher for the class of 1970. He always made history fun and exciting. I can still see that smile in his face. He will surely be missed.

Mr. Somers was my history teacher at Franklin Sr. High School in 1967. I remember him as a great teacher....someone who made learning about our past fun. I am sorry to read he has no survivors, as in my mind he has hundreds of students who remember him now and always. Rest in peace Mr. Somers.
