Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I remember the time when Uncle Dickie showed me his NEW 1957 Chev. Bel Air. how proud he was !!!
We shared a lot of good times ...but wish there were more!!

Bonnie.. our thoughts and prayers are with you !!!

Mike, sorry to hear about your Dad. We're here for you if you need us.

Uncle Dickie in Michigan 1974

Uncle Dickie:

Growing up in Michigan, I never had the opportunity to get see you much. That's my loss. But I do have some memories, so let me remember!

I remember my father, Stan Sorensen, telling a story (with fondness) about when you were a big, strapping young lad long ago. The details are a bit hazy after all these years, but you were with my dad and some others at a restaurant/bar. Every time they would order a round of drinks, you would order a milkshake. My dad couldn't...

My dear uncle, you will be missed! I know how my family and I are feeling right now, so I can only imagine what the other family members are going through!! Uncle Dickie, you will be missed more than you know! You taught me how to drive in your 1956 Chevy. You and Uncle Buddy taught me how to race go carts, which always kept us in trouble with the neighbors every Sunday morning on Fairview Avenue! It also made mom a nervous wreck worried I'd get hurt! I managed to survive! The holidays were...

Uncle Dickie,
We loved you so much! You will be so dearly missed. As your family and friends band together to remember your loving ways and greatness, we will have you in our thoughts and prayers. Always remembering you are in Heaven looking down over us.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My Dearest Uncle
You were loved so much. It's hard to believe your gone. You were so good to Momma and us children after our
father died.My payers are with your family at this time. All the memories we shared and the good times we had.You will be in our hearts always.
Love Debra
