Miss the Big Guys Smile, forever in my Heart! Edward Page

I met Richard because of my Uncle Carl Child. He had worked with Richard with his work over the years. He did a couple of surveys for me as I helped with Carl´s estate and a cabin association. He was so great to work with. His calm demeanor, even when he told me Carl´s property was 50 feet further north onto his neighbors cabin porch. He helped get that correct. A very good man!

I will always remember and appreciate Bishop Richard Sorensen. He came into my life when I was a teenager and moved into a house next door to him and his family on Spring Lane. I knew that he cared about me which is exactly what I needed as a struggling teenager. I loved him and Pat and will cherish the friendship I made with them and his children.

I Remember Richard always smiling, what a Beautiful Smile, and He lived to Whistle! R.I.P. my Friend.

I am saddened by his passing. I spent many days at the Sorensen home, his son Rod was my best friend, and Richard always treated me like a family member. He was such a good man. Heaven gained another valiant servant.

So many wonderful memories of my dear and lovable cousin. Richard. May your faith and faith in God support you through these times.

My heartfelt condolences to the Sorensen family. Dick possessed endless positive influence and inspiration, which he shared with everyone he had contact with. Growing up on Spring Lane, west of the Sorensen´s, our families soon became lifelong friends. I have always considered the Sorensen home a landmark of Spring Lane, with treasured memories. I will remember Dick fondly, working in his yard, his infectious smile, his willingness to help others, and of course, his joy of whistling.. Rest In...

Bishop's greatest work was clearly left in the wonderful lives of his posterity. So grateful to have been blessed by this great man and those who now continue his legacy. Sending much love, and many prayers to the Sorensen family.

The Bishop was a giant not only in stature but in so many other ways, he was hugely supportive, encouraging, giving and loving. I always felt welcome in his presence - he will be greatly missed.
