So sad to see Rich go well before his time. He was a fantastic superintendent and great role model for our profession, fine golfer, fun to be around, and individual of the highest character - will be sorely missed.

I am saddened and shocked to hear of this news. Rich has always come across to me as a kind individual with respect to everybody. He allowed me to play his magnificent golf course many years ago which I will never forget. Rest in peace Rich and my condolences to all of his family.
