Richard Howard Stallings

My families' most sincere condolences to the Stallings family. I served in Congressman Stallings Twin Falls office and then an internship with his Washington office in 1989. While working in his Twin Falls office I always admired his way to communicate with the constituents, if he was meeting with a large group of farmers he knew them all by name and would call on them that way. Oh my goodness; this brought back such a flood of fond memories of Renee and Richard. We kew them when he taught at Ricks College. I always appreciated him; his storytelling ability, his desire to serve the people. I'm sorry about his death, but he lived such a good honorable life. I loved the slide tribute to Richard. He was a true patriot.

Our son, Seth Lounsbury, was Richard's campaign manager for his 2014 campaign. Richard was bigger than life to us. We got to know Richard and he was still bigger than life. He was such a wonderful man with strong values with a desire to preserve our democracy. He never stopped teaching. Rest in peace.
