I went through the police academy with Richard in 1972. A very good and caring man. I visited with him in August of this year, and was happy to see that he still had the same sense of humor I remembered from the Academy. My deepest condolences to the Stankiewicz family.

What wonderful memories I will always have of Mr. “S”. He always had a heart of gold and was full of love and concern for those around him. He was a great and loving father to all his children and the stray children he pick up along the way, as well as being a loving wonderful husband to his beloved wife Paula. It was him who taught my son’s and grandchildren to love, respect, and most of all enjoy nature. Thank you Mr. “S”. It was through camp that we all became one BIG family, thus...

It was an honor to have the opportunity to get to know Mr. S for the past eight years, and share such wonderful times at River Ranch. Those memories and the Sunday outings with the boys will never be forgotten and will be cherished forever in our hearts. The camp fires will never be the same . . .you will be missed. Even though we are saddened that you loss your battle with cancer we know that you are in a better place watching over us all pain free. R.I.P.
