Not sure what to say?

We were so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Even though he had moved away from the Warner area, he has never been far from our thoughts. I personally will never forget how Patsy & Dickie opened their home to me and became my home away from home during my early college years. Later on they hosted the bridal party and the wedding rehearsal dinner for my wedding. Dick, you are loved and missed. Peter, seek solace from your family and take gentle care.

You were a wonderful father & being your daughter-in-law, I could not have asked for a better man. Thank you for raising such a kind, thoughtful & loving son. Thumbs up to you & Pat on that! We miss you Dicky-do.....this is a tough one for sure. Mia was saying names of the people she loved yesterday, "....and I lub my Grampy." It made my eyes tear up. I wish you were around longer to see her grow & teach her how to fish off the back of Fired Up b/c she'd love it! You were such a patient...

Peter & Marcy, I was so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I have know and worked with your dad for 50 years. I will miss that H o w d y on the other end of the phone and sharing our love of the water and fishing. I will miss that smile. I am sorry I wasn't able to be there but hope I can stop by in the near future. He so loved his family, work and those he worked with. He will be deeply missed.

Pete and Marcy, please know that we are thinking and praying for you during this difficult time. Words can't express how sorry we are. All Our Love, Karen and Jon

We are thinking of you all and praying for peace and comfort. What a legacy, full of wonderful memories, he has left you! Fred said that it was always a pleasure speaking with Mr Stearns and that he always wore a tan and a smile. : ) Much love and prayer, Fred & Dawn Roy

Pete and Marcy . I am sorry to hear about your dad's passing . It was always a pleasure to talk with him. I remember snowmobiling in Warner way back when before I even knew what a fire pump was . Take care and GB.

Pete & Marcy, I read this obit online in Florida and still can't believe it. Dick and you both became friends to me during a business relationship and I miss you all. Dick was an inspiration to me with his fair minded way. You are both very fortunate to carry on with his good work. I offer you both my sincere regrets.

Pete and Marcy, So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was such a gentleman and pleasure to work with. He was a kind of person who made your day better whenever you saw him. God be good to him!

It is with a sad heart that I send this message of love to Nan, Peter, Marcy and Mia. Our memories of Rich will live on. He loved his family and friends. When we visited with him in September, he was so happy and proud to show us his new boat "Fired Up" and his business RT Stearns.

Love and hugs to you all. His sister Carol Stearns Thornburgh
