Not sure what to say?

I happened into O'Reillys, in Issaquah, just yesterday - I'd run into him there a couple times since he retired so I asked if he was still "moonlighting" once in awhile. It hit me like a truck, hearing that he'd passed on... a very kind and funny man, he had patiently taught me more about 3-phase power than I can possibly remember. He will certainly be greatly missed, but I've been blessed that I got to know and work with him.

Elaine
I was so sorry to recently hear about Dick's passing. (Thank you Dale for keeping the Guest Book Open)
I have so many fond memories of the two of you in High School and especially in band. Even though we had lost contact since high school I never forgot the two of you.
Our hearts are joined with yours as we together grieve. Know that Peace and Love are always present even when they may not be felt. May God bless your family this day and always.

I just learned so sadly yesterday of Dick's passing and this great loss to his family. Although Dick was indeed a good friend to me in Junior & Senior High (when we were also neighbors) what a pleasure it also was later to be greeted by Dick, his smile and friendly words later at every school reunion.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

My deep sympathy Stern family. May Gods ' Word console you through this difficult time. Know that " He cares for you ". - 1Peter5 : 7

Elaine I'm very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I'm so glad that I got the chance to run in to him in Phoenix last year. After fourty some years it was just like old times. My thoughts are with you.

I know Dick is flying with the Angels now. He will so missed and have left a hole in my heart that will never go away but I know time heals all wounds. Thank you to all our friends who have written and remembered him fondly.

All,
A couple of years ago, I had the fortune of running into Dick in Ellensburg. I hadn't seen him in over 45 years!! Seeing him brought back so many memories of our childhoods on Maple Street. We laughed about how it was always the Brigman girls and the Stern boys against the Nevins' kids and the Garvey kids.
I was so sorry to read about his passing and yet so thankful our paths crossed.
I know he will be missed by many. Caring thoughts go out to you all.
