Fredi and family:
I just heard of Richard's passing and am so sorry that I was not able to pay my respects. Richard agreed to co-counsel with me on my first jury trial many years ago when I was fresh out of law school and didn't know the first thing about the practice. i am so sorry for the family's loss....Mr. Sternberg was very very special and in my 36 years of practice of law ALWAYS an example, mentor and I am very glad to say a friend.....that smile is a life long memory

I became aquainted with Richard as a young Akron Police Officer,he was representing a person on a minor charge and we talked and over the years became good friends by virtue of our duties,Richard was a brilliant attorney and gave me many good lessons on the law which helped me through my career,we always had good converstaions through the years, many did not know he was one of the original Whiz Kids which in itself was an honor.I will miss him and his wisdom.

Fredi and family -
Richard was a gentleman, a legal scholar, and a bigger-than-life presence to those he touched. He was an amazing mentor and I am blessed to have been a small part of his life. May your loss and grief soon be replaced by wonderful memories of this remarkable man.
Love, BJ
