My sincere condolences to Rich Struther's family. I was married to John "Sonny" Kutzler, a childhood friend from Delaware Park & fellow A&P employee. John passed away in 2002. I'm so sorry for your loss. May he RIP.

Mr. Struthers was a neighborhood staple while I was growing up. Whether it was a kind waive while he was tending to his beautifully manicured yard, a smile when I would ride my bike by the Struthers home, or a stern look when the "Norwood boys" were being mischievous (as was often the case!), we always knew Mr. Struthers was watching out for us. My condolences to Rich´s family, I was a classmate with him at PHS class of 1967. Many good memories during does years. RIP my friend.

Rich and his family were special friends for me growing up in Delaware Park. We spent thousands of hours together shooting hoops on his driveway, playing football in the snow on an adjacent lot, playing baseball on "the nearby DP green circle", playing golf at various local courses with his dad and playing board games and card games in his home´s family room. Rich was a very good friend growing up in Delaware Park, Phillipsburg,NJ. He and Neva were instrumental in me meeting my wife, Sue. I worked with him at the local A&P..... many stories. He was in our wedding. He was an all around good guy, coming from a great family. RIP Rich!
