Not sure what to say?

Dick was well known in the Chittenango community, and will be missed. I met him through the Chittenango Lions Club, who's mission of service was something Dick took to heart. We rarely missed seeing Dick at any of the community service activities. He always kept himself involved in serving the community. Rest in peace my friend.

I met Richard a few years ago when I joined the Chittenango Recreation Bowling team. Truly he was a gentleman and a scholar. Though he couldnt teach me to bowl better I was pleased to say he was a friend. Rest in peace Richard.

Dick had a big impact on many people's lives with his warmth, kindness and community service. I have fond memories as a Boy Scount in Troop 11 where Dick was Scoutmaster. He led a large, thriving troop on winter camping trips, canoe trips, and Scout camp in the summers, and motivated many of us to work hard at learning leadership, teamwork, and other life skills through earning lmerit badges and rank promotions. Later on in life we had a few opportunities to catch up when bumping into each...

So we were so many miles apart my Uncle Has always had a special place in my heart. The time we were together I have never heard him say an unkind or harsh word about anything. He was always so full of laughter and stories they could brighten the day. When he would come visit our family in Florida my mom (AKA his sister) His laughter would fill the Room. He will truly Be missed by everyone. Rest in peace Uncle Dick. I love unless you dearly already.

We are so sorry of Dicks passing. We had the honor of meeting him on the Oz-stravaganza Committee when we moved to Chittenango. He then persuaded me to join him on the Bicentennial Committee. He always had a smile and never complained. Dick will be missed. May he RIP

We always had a wonderful time on Fridays Happy Hour at Towne Center with Richard and Wilma. We also had a great time singing together in the choir there. Miss you already Richard.

We met Dick 50 years ago when we were neighbors and fellow teachers. He taught both of our children and worked with us in the community, especially at Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum. He assisted me weekly in the children's education programs, worked with Jim on the bowling and golf tournaments, and finally joined us on the board of trustees. He volunteered for any and all projects that needed doing! He was one of the most courteous, reliable, hardworking persons we've met. We pray now...

He assisted me in the children's education programs and worked with Jim on the bowling and golf tournaments for many years.
