Not sure what to say?

I would like to offer my condolences to you. I know you must be missing Mr. Sumner as he was a great person to be around. I was fortunate enough to have Mr. Sumner as my fifth grade teacher at Hamilton Elementary. I have to say he is what inspired me in life. When I think back, I remember how wonderful he was. I remember wanting to stay in fifth grade just to have him as my teacher again. He was such a great teacher. I hope you find strength through God’s will.

This is very very tragic news to hear. I was taught by both mr.and mrs. sumner I loved them both. mr. sumner was my favorite teacher all through my school years, he was a very nice guy, I thought of him as a friend. He inspired me to always do my best. when I visited home and heard the news I was heartbroken. Mr. sumner I will miss you.

I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers go out to you. I have a lot of good memories from knowing Rick and your family. He brought a great deal of joy and laughter to those lives he touched. We were neighbors and worked together at Lakeland Regional Hospital many years ago. He touched my heart.

Brother, the world is smaller now. I miss you! How can anyone else kinow what we went thru together. Every summner you and I would go to Ga. and work in the Fields. There was only Great-GrandMother, Great-GrandFather, you and me, all summer for 6 years. You taught me how to fight; How to laugh; How to joke; How to play the guitar; How to make skim boards, How to make tie-dye shirts; How to surf; How to ride a bike; How to fish; How to chase after/behind the Mosquito Spray-Truck; How to...

Dear Cheryl,
My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and Rick's family. You were a young college graduate starting your first year of teaching when I was the lucky senior teacher assigned to become your mentor/advisor. (Thank you, Mr. Barker) Your friendship has always been a treasure to me.
May you carry on in strength and love of life for all humanity as I remember you those many years ago.
My prayers are with you and all the family as you deal with...

Next to my Father, Ricky was the best man I have ever known. I love him very much and will miss my brother greatly. He is always on my mind and in my prayers. I wish I could have seen him one more time before he left, but my memories of him will be treasured for the rest of my life. See ya on the other side bro.
Love, Allen

Mr.Sumner was the best teacher in the world. He was my fifth grade teacher and all the students loved him. I was on his safety patrol and was delighted to be under him. I think if it wasn't for him my math skill wouldn't have been as well as they are now. All my teacher were stunned at how I performed and I always answered this is great work of my fifth grade math teacher! Thanks to Mr. Sumner, I am graduating 3rd in my class and I think he played a tremendous role in helping me get there. I...

Mr. Sumner was one of my favorite teachers at Hamilton. He made my day, everytime I stepped into his classroom, my day was brigther. His humor amazed me. I am sorry for his death, but he is with God now. We will see him in heaven.

Proverbs 18:24 says "there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother". Over these last 32 years you were that type of friend to me. You were with me when I laughed, you were with me when I cried, you were there when grass and weeds had to be cut or when hide-a-way beds had to be moved or any kind of work had to be done. During these times you could always come up with funny things to say and always smiled. I can honestly say I never heard you say anything negative about anyone. Thanks for...
