Not sure what to say?

What an inspiration it was for me to meet Dick. I met him while he was a volunteer at Baylor hospital. He was a blessing in my life at that time. He inspired me to see life from a different perspective and my life was never the same after that time.
I am glad I got yo see him for his birthday last year. I never imagined it was going to be my last time to share memories with him.

Judy, Thanks very much for sharing that precious jewel with so many of us. He left a legacy in life......

Judy and JT --
Not even sure if you'll remember me -- Kay Rediger (now Ottenbach) -- but I worked for Dick and the Dallas Chamber for a couple of years. One of my former roommates who still lives in Dallas e-mailed me the notice.
First, let me say how sorry I am that the world has lost such a bright light, but what a wonderful thing that he enjoyed being with us for 90 years! I still have great memories of all of you and your friendship and compassion even after our working...

JT,

Thinking of you during this time.

I was fortunate to work for Mr. Sutcliffe in SMU's PR department. He was professional, supportive, funny and friendly. His kindness will be missed. My sympathies to the Sutcliffe family.

Dear Sutcliffe Family,
I shall miss your father/husband and his humor, his spirited and thoughtful outlook on life and shall always recall my trip with Judy and Dick to Gettysburg in 1970. We were so fortunate to have you as neighbors. Dick took me to the hospital once and aided my wife in an emergency with back pain. He was one of the most intelligent and considerate gentlemen I have ever known.
