Oh Dick, Today is your appointment and I called to remind you. Something didn't feel right in my spirit, so I checked the obituaries and there you were. I'm heartbroken...I had no idea! We had such wonderful talks and times of sharing. I'll miss you my friend. Knowing you're with Pat and Sheba again, comforts me. I'll see you again one day...
My deepest condolences to Dick's family and friends. He was a true gentle man...

Dick added so much to the life of Central United Methodist Church over the years, usually preferring to stay behind the scenes without any recognition. He helped with maintenance repairs, went on mission trips, opened his home to potluck gatherings, and was the go-to guy to help set up the labyrinth. His friendship and spirit will be greatly missed. Prayers to all of his family members.

Dick was such a great man and made a very big impact on my life many years ago. He showed me what a great father looked like by seeing the love he showed to his children. He was so proud of them and all their accomplishments, and will continue to be as he looks down from Heaven. I've never meant another person who is as kind as Dick. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

Dick will be sadly missed at Central.I enjoyed having coffee with Dick and friends from Central on Sunday mornings. May God shed his blessings on his family at this time --Mary Duram
