Richard Wayne Tarr

I lived in Casey, IL as a teenager. My friend lived close to Rt. 40. We rode our bikes from my house to her house and decided to do the hitchhiking sign, the thumb, and see if he would stop for us. I remember him being a handsome man. He stopped, but honestly, I don't remember if he took us back to my house. I never heard a bad remark about him. I recognized the name and thought I would check it out. I'm sorry for your loss of such a fine man. God bless you all and comfort you. Billie

Many years ago, I worked in a small diner in Casey, IL. Occasionally, Mr. Tarr came into the restaurant for coffee or a meal. All of us fought over who was going to wait on him, because he was so nice and pleasant to talk to. He was definitely one of our favorite customers. Rest in peace Mr. Tarr.
