I wanted to share with you how valuable Gup was in my life. His warmth, compassion, and love of life and those around him was as obvious and natural as a trout in Dead Stream. I am so sorry to hear of Gup's passing. We worked together at Weyerhaeuser for years and always had fun and success. With Gup there was a surprise around every corner and that what made him such a gem.

I remember Gup Taylor had a column in the now defunct "Somerset Gazette" when it first came out. I knew his son, Steve, whose wife, Lumina, worked at Embden Elementary School while I was a student there.
