TAYLOR, Richard Skeffington, of Richmond, Va., passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela on February 21, 1938, the son of the late Richard Pelham Taylor of Oxford , N.C. and Mary K. Taylor of Henley-on-Thames, England. He was a national junior golf champion of Venezuela, a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and proudly worked internationally for Philip Morris for 30 years. He leaves Maria Teresa Cornejo Taylor; daughters, Carolina Taylor DeWell, Diana Kerr Taylor and Mary Winfield Taylor, all of Richmond; son-in-law, Sean DeWell; sisters, Mary Ann Brewer, Maureen Taylor, Sheila Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor of Oxford, N.C.; brothers, the late James Winfield Taylor, Michael D. Taylor of San Diego, Calif. and Robert P. Taylor of Youngsville, N.C. A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Friday at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. Burial will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford, N.C.

Siento mucho el fallecimiento de Dick, yo tengo muy buenos recuerdos de el. Dick fue un gran jefe para mi,tuve la suerte de haber trabajado con el en Miami asi como aqui en Richmond. El siempre me contaba su experiencia cuando vivio en El Salvador, se moria de la risa cuando me contaba como comenzo a trabajar en ES.
No tengo palabras para expresarles a usted como a sus tres hijas mi mas sentido pesame y yo se que Dick ya esta descansando en la presencia de Dios.
