I was fortunate to know Fr. Tessmer at St. Anastasia School, in Waukegan, IL. He was a guiding light in my life. I will forever remember him and all the good he did for me and my friends as we went through our teenage years. He gave us the Christophers Club and taught us how to live and work together in harmony.

Dear Members of Dick Tessmer's Family,
I have known Dick for over 30 years as a member of NACC. What a wonderful priest and chaplain, visionary and not afraid of change. While I mourn his passing - his presence at NACC meetings will be deeply missed - I am grateful to him for his long and dedicated service to God's sick. Requiscat in pace.
