I wanted to choose my own paint colors and Dick said, "What color do you want me to paint the floor?" I moved in the next week and that was over 30 years ago. Such a kind, funny, loving man.

I haven't seen Dick in years, but we recently reconnected on Facebook, and it was delightful to hear about his life in North Carolina. I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet again. My condolences to his partner and his family.
