Richard Samuel Thoman

Dick was my professor, my friend, and I spent a lot of time with him socially, as well as in his classes. He would take my wife and I to dinners, picking us up in his 1925 Rolls Royce. My wife then, edited his text book. I designed logos and did cartography for him.

Richard was a mentor/professor at then Cal State University, Hayward. My then wife and I were close friends of his and his wife. He often took us to dinner in his favorite, a 1925 Rolls Royce. My ex was editor of one of his text books. I did maps and graphics for him. A serious man who liked a good joke. He´s definitely missed.
