Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of Richard's passing. I remember him from when we grew up grew up a block apart, went all through elementary and high school together, played cowboys and army in "the gophers", and on the golf course at the "little Rockies", stuff little boys did back then. As most often happens, our lives took us to different locales but, since he was a significant part of my childhood, I'll always have some thought of him.

Farewell, old Friend.

Mike...

I don't know when I have ever felt a sorrow as bad as losing Richard. He was like a brother and a father to me. He taught me how to live... His way of living I have adopted; If you're going to do something, put 100% into it. Richard got more enjoyment out of a day of life than most do in a lifetime. I want the Thompson family to know that i have the deepeset respect and love for him. Starwberry Fields Forever Richard, Love Marty "Abe Goldstein" Hatley

I WORKED WITH RICHARD FOR TWO YEARS.
BOTH AS SALESMAN AND A MGR. WE SHARED MANY A LAUGHS. HE HELPED GET ME WHERE I AM TODAY IN THE CAR BUSINESS. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED. I LOVED HIM LIKE A BROTHER

EARTH HAS NO SORROW THAT HEAVEN CAN NOT HEAL. MY PRAYS ARE WITH THE FAMILY IN THIS TIME OF SORROW. RICHARD MAY YOU REST IN PEACE.MARVIN

Rest in peace my friend and brother. We all love you.

When you get to the edge of all the light that you have and you take a step into the darkness of the unknown one of two things will happen there will be something solid to stand on or GOD will teach me to fly. And that is what has happened with Richard, he has flown
to the skies above.
Love You,

I knew you in grammar school and high school - what a devil of a little kid you were in grade school! As it goes, once high school is over, there are so many we never see again. I wish there had been a class reunion - it is hard to believe it has almost been 40 years. I am sure you remained as handsome as I remember you. My sincerest sympathies to your family and friends. Here is a Native American Prayer for the family that I hope is comforting:

I give you this one thought to...

Richard was a good friend and neighbor. We have many fond memories of our early years. Although we had not been in contact for so many years,we are deeply saddened by the news, but thankful to have known him and his family. By the promise of God, we will see him again! Love and condolences to Mrs. Thompson, Roger, his children, and all.
