Such a lovely man. His wife Mary was my godmother and one of my earliest memories was attending their wedding and thinking how beautiful they were together. My memories of Dick and his family will always be treasured. A lifetime of love and appreciation, what a wonderful memory, I am fortunate to know, and love him.

Dick and Mary were long time time tennis friends. Dick was my successful mixed doubles partner in many tournaments, and Mary was a longtime member of our tennis ladies. Oh, the times we all had, the memories we made. May these memories sustain Dick’s family. Our deepest condolences. Kay and Dave Schaerer

Hello Richard’s family: It was a pleasure and a rewarding service volunteering with Richard in the Oregon Long Term Care Ombudsman program. I will long remember his dedication to building community and care for others, important efforts at any time, so essentially important. God Bless your memory.

We had some wonderful memories of getting together for Holidays, you will be missed. I remember when I was a teen ager Dad was in Viet nam and I was having teen age issues, Mom called you to come talk to me.. Yup it helped. Hugs and Love Dick❤
