Read MoreIt was a privilege to know Richard. Under that gruff, handsome exterior, gradually he revealed himself to be caring, very generous and yes, even sentimental. He allowed me to relive his childhood with him and I like to think it gave him a new perspective and opened new doors of understanding. I know it did for me. I will always treasure his friendship.
