Not sure what to say?

Our hearts ache for the loss of someone so dear. We are going to miss his big laugh, his fun sense of humor, and his amazing ability to make everyone feel welcome. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Love, Mark and Lynn

Our sympathy to Linnie and the family...

I will miss Rick''s fascinating worldview and the numerous discussions we enjoyed over the years - my oh my, the problems we solved while staring at the gorgeous views at Pine Knoll Shores!

I am so happy to have known Rick, and the memories will be with me forever. Hugs to Lynnie, hope to see you soon.

Our sympathy to Lynnie & family. We enjoyed meeting Rick aboard Rickshaw & knowing him through DeFever Cruisers.

Rickshaw

When we bought ‘Rickshaw' 2 ½ years ago, Rick was always willing and eager (in spite of his recent diagnosis) to help us understand ‘Rickshaw' better, so we could get to love her the way he & Lynnie did. During our first trip on ‘Rickshaw' from Morehead City to Norfolk, we got to know Rick and Lynnie better and will always treasure the memories from that trip with them.
We had great admiration for Rick for his upbeat attitude, generous spirit and great sense of humor, which persisted...

I knew Richard when he was a Staff Programmer in Store Systems in IBM Building 602. He was clear thinker, always looking ahead, very good at planning his work and coordinating his work with others. He was a great guy, well respected, and I'm sure he had a great career. I am greatly saddened to lose him at such a relatively young age. My sincerest sympathy to his wife and family.

Dear Lynnie,
Loving thoughts and many prayers for you and Rick's family now and in the future. Our hearts ache for you all and hope the knowledge that Rick lived a wonderful life and is no longer suffering will bring you comfort during these dark days.
Hugs and love,
Kathy and Grey
