Gretchen - Linda and I just learned of Dick's passing, and want to express our sincere condolences to you and your family. I enjoyed working with Dick early in our careers at Vickers, and enjoyed your company once again when you located to Grand Rapids. I think of you often when Linda fixes "chicken roll-ups", still my favorite and first served to me at your table. If you are ever in the Charlevoix area we would welcome your visit!

Dear Gretchen, we are so sorry for your loss. Dick was a great boss and better friend. I was lucky enough to maintain a relationship with Dick during all the years since his retirement at Interstate.
He made all his friends feel important and special.

Gretchen, Linda and I were shocked and devastated to hear that Dick had passed. He seemed to be on the road to recovery and we were looking forward to seeing you two again - somewhere in the world - in the near future. Hard to imagine him gone, guess it really has not soaked in yet.

I remember visiting your young family when Dick transferred to Washington, DC. Karen and I were always appreciative of your kindness when we were being transferred to Grand Rapids in 1989.
