Richard was really a fun guy to talk with. Very knowledgable about many things in life. Always said hello to everyone and just seemed to love the life that God had given him. He just loved to sit and shoot the breeze about anything. He was truly a good character that we will all miss. May you rest in peace Richard.

I met Dick when he was a patient here at U of M hospital (where I work) following his motorcycle accident 4 years ago...and we continued to be friends after his release. He often visited and we'd grab a coffee when he had "return appointments." Lately we kept up our visits at the Roadhouse where he'd stop to enjoy music and friends while riding his motorcycle. He was always a gentleman and always had a ready smile. I will miss him greatly.
