Lola-Please accept my condolence on Dean's passing. Our family lived "across the field" near Oakford. When I was ill one summer as a teenager Dean loaned all his Hardy Boys books to read.My brother Dick ,who passed away recently, idolized Dean as he was growing up and always thought fondly of him. Sincerely Don Shawgo

My deepest sympathy to all of you. Such a kind man. I always enjoyed visiting with him at the bank. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and always.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. The first image that comes to mind when remembering Dean is a large and welcoming smile. The trips to Mt. Pulaski to visit the Toohey family when in Illinois have always been delightful and Dean certainly helped make sure that was so. Please know that we are thinking of you during this difficult time. Joy Williams and Todd Smyth

Please accept our heartfelt condolences for the loss of Dean. We will always cherish the memories of our visits to the farm...especially when Nick was little and Dean took him in the combine during the harvest. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
