Richard. Man, from time to time I sit and wonder what life would be life if I had you around. You were my cadet mentor and I miss those days we had in college. The fact that you took me under your wing and helped me out with land navigation and OPORDs is something I will NEVER forget. As the new year approaches, I wanted to step back and remember you. Please know that your sacrifice will not be forgotten. On Saturday May 23 I was honored to read the names of Tennessee's fallen in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars at a ceremony in Washington DC at the WWII Memorial. Richard Torres is remembered.
