Not sure what to say?

Richard, I feel as though I´ve lost my brother. For the past 45 years you have been there to celebrate every success, mourn every loss and to help us through the day to day of life. Your wealth of knowledge, understanding and compassion was nothing short of stunning. You have inspired me to think, to read, to pay attention and move forward. You have been an integral part of my family. A brother to my wife and I and "Uncle Rich" to our children. I dread your absence at our Holiday table. My...

Rick's death has left a space in my heart. He was my best friend. I would talk with him weekly and sometimes more because I needed his way of thinking. He made me laugh, and had a fantastic sense of humor. He has been a part of my life for so long his, passing has now left a void. We could talk about anything, there were no limits. I miss him terribly and still think I can pick up the phone to tell him about my day. Our friendship made me part of his family whom I love. I will miss you...

My heart is broken. Richard was one of my very best friends for 35 years. Was and always will be such a big part of our lives. You were there for it all. I will forever miss you my friend Rest peacefully and please watch over us.

He had been my best friend. He was there for me always. He had a funny sense of humor, and was quick witted. We would talk at least weekly, and often got together for lunch or dinner, taking turns treating one another. I miss him terribly, and am blessed to be a part of is family. I could always depend on him to listen if I wanted to vent, and vice versa. There is an emptiness now in my life, and I miss him. You are in peace my friend, and we'll meet again. I love you

God Bless Richard! A ELHS classmate '73. Bob Dobias

Richard was a special person who served his Country, loved family, and lived life to the end with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by so many people. My deepest sympathy to Maryann, John and the rest of his family.

May he rest in in peace with the family members and friends who have gone before him and may his memory be eternal.
