Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home - 44th Street - Pittsburgh Obituary

In loving memory of Richard "Tucker" Grubbs.

It is with deep sadness that we announce on Monday January 15th 2024 the sudden passing of Richard "Tucker" Grubbs at the age of 31, a graduate of Pine Richland High School, Tucker was known for his thoughtfulness, kindness, and quick wit. His caring and compassionate nature brightened the lives of those around him, making him a beloved figure in his community. Tucker would always offer a smile and a cheerful hello. He always had an amusing anecdote about current political events, which left us all laughing!

Tucker dedicated himself to public service, contributing as a Tax Account Collection Technician for the Department of Revenue. In his most recent endeavor, he volunteered for the election board during municipal elections in Richland Township, showcasing his commitment to civic duty.

A beacon of humor with a big heart, Tucker leaves behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. In his short time here, Tucker helped many of his friends and family through tough times.  He will be dearly missed by his parents, Tomasina and Eric, as well as his six brothers, Jared, Cullen, Gavin, Quinn, Dermot, and Liam. His Grandmother Joan “Ma” Grubbs. Godmother Aunt Daria (Vince) Knechtel. Godfather Uncle Thomas (Tina) Quinlan. Uncle Paul Grubbs & Aunt Shannon Quinlan. Cousins Thomas, Tatum & Rory Quinlan and many other Great Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Predeceased by his Grandparents Richard “Big Rich” Grubbs, William “Fire” Quinlan and Jacqueline “Nunnie” Quinlan and Uncle Todd Quinlan. Great-Grandmothers Margaret “GG” Gurneck and Dorothy “Great Gram” Zirckel.

In this time of grief, we remember Tucker for the joy he brought into our lives and the warmth he shared with everyone he encountered. May his spirit live on in our hearts as we celebrate the beautiful soul that touched us all.

All are welcome to join us for a Celebration of Life for Tucker, Saturday, January 20, 2024 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at: The Pour House 4655 William Flynn Highway (Route 8) Allison Park Pa 15101.
