Richard Wayland Tupper Richard Wayland Tupper, age 58, of both Madison, Va. and Rappahannock, Va. died suddenly on January 20, 2011 at UVA Medical Hospital. He was born October 16, 1952 in Ft. Devens, Mass.
Richard was an accomplished outdoorsman, carpenter, and gardener.
Preceded in death by his father, Thomas P. Tupper of Washington, Va., Survivors include his mother, Marguerite (Rita) Wayland Tupper, of Washington, VA., his wife of 33 years, Deborah H. Tupper, as well as his Son, Daniel H. Tupper of Pennsylvania, and Daughter, Audrey H. Tupper of Rileyville, Va. Other survivors include four siblings: Barbara Tupper Sharp, Michael Wayland Tupper, Laura Tupper Burke, and Annie Tupper Bearden.
The family will be holding a private service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to The National Wildlife Federation, 11100 Wildlife Center Dr., Reston, VA 20190-5362. An online guestbook and tribute wall is available at www.foundandsons.com
