Not sure what to say?

I remember moving to the Village of Linwood in 1977. Two gentlemen welcomed us with open arms and that was Dick and Hank Duchene. If you as much opened the hood of your car or pulled twice on your lawn mower rope Dick and Hank were over asking if they could help. I remember one time in the winter when I was late getting to the snow on the driveway and there they were the dynamic duo. They were having some trouble keeping their balance and then I seen why. Dick pulled a bottle out of his...

Dearest Bea & Family,

I was a special friend of Dick's while growing up, while spending time at my
Aunt Helen Steven's on the Kawkawlin River. I remember you all, even after you & Dick were married.

Don's & my thoughts & prayers are with you all.

To my grandpa, he would do any thing to make me happy when he or I walked in the door he would say hi pretty girl how are you doing? When I spent the night just like my own dad, he would check on me and Brendan. We would talk about hunting, fishing, without waking up Brendan, and than we would go back to bed. That morning I would deliver breakfast and coffe or tea and he would watch some hunting and fishing shows. I also remeamber when he went to my kindergarten class for grandparents...

To my father,

You will forever be my loving dad, mentor, best friend and hero. Through the good and bad times you always stood by my side, and helped me weather the storm. You always volunteered to assist anyone in need, and were extremely positive. I could always count on you being in the front row for any game or school program. You will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

Love Always,

Dick is a great man and a good friend. he was incredibly positive and a very good influence on me and my family. I will always remember his wit, his willingness to laugh and how he always made me feel better after I talked with him. He was a terrifc friend indeed.

Joy and I have lost a great neighbor. Dick was always around asking if there was anything he could do to help. He was so nice and very smart. He kept that township in line and between him and Hank....they made our neighborhood safe and a nice place to raise our kids. We are sorry to see that Dick is gone so it will be up to Sue and Bob to look after Bea. May God bless your family always. I am going to try to be at the funeral home on Tuesday. take care. Rick
