Not sure what to say?

Our first contact with Dick was at the Shaker Heights Country Club. We fell in with the Notre Dame crowd who always planned a weekend at Cedar Point
Van Aukens, the Jim Griffiths and Gardiners began what was to be a many year program of yearly weekends at Cedar Point.
Then Notre Dame football weekends which would include a day or two in Chicago.
Precious memories
love from Babs and Bill

My condolences to all of the Van Auken family. The memories of RAV and all of you on family trips and outings we spent together remain very special.

The Plain Dealer had it right when they said Dick "delivered meals and fed homeless people". He was astounded and troubled when he and I had to assist a Mobile Meals client who had fallen in the night and was unable to get up until we summoned emergency personnel. He was a great fan of our agency, a terrific help as regards the agency's current home and always supported our business endeavors. Our last project involved getting natural gas vehicles for the agency ..we were just a little ahead...

Jill and family-So sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the you and family. You were a great Uncle!
Much love, Cheryl, Dean, Troy and Taylor

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

My fond memories of Dick will stay with me forever. May God bless him and the surviving family.

Our deepest sympathy ,Susie
To you and the family members

Dick was such a likeable guy not to mention a leader in his community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Much love, Mimi and Bill Burns
