Not sure what to say?

I am so sad to know of dickies passing away. I was searching the Internet to connect with him. I know he had found peace thru the practise if mindfulness which I have tried to cultivate. He was my first Americsn friend and left a lasting impression on me. Not a day passed that I did not think of him. Somehow I assumed he was mad at me. I was do wrong. He had evolved so much. I am I tears. I write a story of my first year in American and his story is thd most touching for me. I...

Tina and family,
Very sorry to hear about Dick. He was a true gentleman and a pleasure to hike with in the outdoors of Southern Arizona - and his devotion to veterans was truly unique.

In reading about your life, I am only sorry that I didnt meet you in person. May your important work continue!

Thank you for being my oldest and dearest friend. You showed me how to live and also how to die bravely. Semper fi, Dickie. Peace and love.

Condolences on the loss of a compassionate, insightful and inspirational human being.
- John Peck, Ajo

You were my friend Kay's "baby brother" and as such, held a special place in her heart - which I also came to know and understand. From great hardship comes great things - you were living proof of that, taking your Nam experiences and the health of your only son and creating good things that will live on well beyond you. Good job, Dick! We should all be so inspired by our passions. You are definitely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you.

Thank you for being my pal, Richard. I hear your voice every day reminding me to "breathe in, breathe out, and feel the sun on my skin." Your journey into and out of hell helped all of us. Rest in the peace you fought for and deserve.

The world has lost a unique, passionate man whose commitment to changing the world went far beyond words to consistent actions. My thoughts are with Tina, Aaron, CT and the rest of the family who have lost someone so dear to them.

with all may love always, Lorri
