Richard Vanderbeck

This popped up in my online memories today. I'll never forget how Ricky was like a brother to me, and we'll always think of how much we miss him.

Dear Dan & Kelley I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I have very good memories of myself and your dad. It goes way back to elementary school. We were together every weekend at the lake. Kelley and Dan: I have some great memories of your Dad. He was like an older brother to me when I was much younger. One thing I'll never forget is the time he took me to the beach with your Mom. By the time we got there I was freezing my butt off because it was so cold in the car from the air conditioner! It makes me smile to think of that. It makes my heart break to think of your loss. I am still at a loss as to what to say. From giving me a hard time about my falling grades back when we worked together in high school to replacing the central air where I live now, Rick has always been willing to help. It was so obvious the he cared about people.
I am sorry we were unable to attend the service yesterday, but know that you are in our hearts and prayers

I am so sorry to here about the loss of your dad. I will always be here for you at anytime of the day to help you and be here for you. I love you so much Dan and promise to make sure to make you happy. I just went through the loss of my mom in april so if you need anything let me no. I no how much you idoled your dad and he was a huge part of your life. I remeber you telling us in Human Relations. Im here for you dan at anytime of the day.
