Even though the years and miles kept us apart, part of the family is gone with you. There's a better place waiting for you. May
God bless the family and our hearts go out to them. You fought a long battle but are now at peace. You will be missed.

Your cousin Dewayne Vandermark Moody, Al.

My deepest condolences to Richard Vandermarks family. I too am on the list of people he lent a hand to in the past. He was a kind decent man.

MY HUSBAND AND I , HAVE KNOW VAN, FOR 30 YEARS,HE WAS ALWAYS TEACHING/AND HELPING OTHERS.WE WILL ALWAYS BE GREATFUL. YOU WILL BE MISSED. REST IN PEACE, GOD BLESS! GRACE & ERIC ARREDONDO, SORRY ABOUT ALL CAPS I HAVE A VISION ISSUE

Van, you will be missed by many, many people. You were always helping everyone and giving of yourself without even thinking about it. In 1976 you started saving my butt everytime my car broke down, through my single years, into my married years and even after the kids came along. Didn't get to know you till I was 22, but now at 55, I'm so glad you were in my life. Love you,
Lois Loomer Williams (cousin)

Van, I can just see you having fun at that big craps table in the sky. We will miss you.

In the words of Albert Einstein, "Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us. Our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life". Van is alive in you.

God Bless you all!
