Not sure what to say?

Rick moved in to the house next door and my life changed. He became best of friends first out of church and then in church. He never knew my entire life story and that is something we can talk over in the kingdom ahead.
I have never seen someone fighting for his own health be so tuned into the spiritual needs of others. He believed for his healing and Jesus answered his prayers. He took him home to heaven.
My heart is a bit heavy today because it was exactly a year ago that I heard...

Rick was one of a group of great friends at first missionary. We still have some of those friends.the memories of bus trips, brown city camp, friends hanging together, singing,we lived, laughed, and loved.I have been blessed to have known you and your family my whole life. You will live in our hearts forever.PRAYERS for the family and friends. RIP Rick Vanderveer xoxo

A flood of memories of an old close chum. Midnight shooting hoops and eating pizza. Rick on the back of my motorcycle wearing his handpainted "Soupy Backflash helmet. Rick in the passenger seat of my old GMC pickup with 10 of our closest friends in the back, barrelling down Woodward to the Bob-lo boat docks. Endless hours and miles cruising to nowhere, listening to Ernie and the Tigers or Bruce and the Red Wings. We shared an eclectic taste in music, everything from Paul Revere...

We at Tenuta's are thankful for the opportunity to work with Rick for seventeen (17) years.

Rick was a truly loving man whose love of people was made most clear through his devotion and handling of those less fortunate. His ability to patiently devote time and energy to brighten their lives was notable.

Rick's knowledge of music, particularly Rock and Roll, was absolutely unparalleled.

Our thoughts and prayers go to his family, we will miss him greatly!

I'm so sorry for your lost may your family and friends of the family find comfort in the God of all comfort Isaiah 61:1,2
