Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the VanNess family. I was SHOCKED to hear of Dicks passing yesterday at a committee meeting of RWS of which Dick served on. I did not know Dick that well but always enjoyed his point of view on the things we discussed. He will be missed

I have so many memories, so many good times, this news leaves me without the words to express what I am feeling. For a brief time, we were family and I appreciate all that I was lucky enough to share. May you find peace.

Dear Diane - Katie called me tonight to tell me that Dick had died, and I checked it online, and here I am. I am so sorry. I assume that you were vacationing on Cape Cod, and something happened. Please write or call and let me know. I have missed you guys for years. Glad to note that you have a Doodle to keep you company. Hugs and blessings...sandie

My sincere condolences to the VanNess family. My fondest memory is one that goes way back to his outside travel agent days. I was one of the ladies in the Traveltime Travel office who used to help him with his referrals. He would always have a smile and a story to share.

Many fond memories of my teenage years. His lawn is where we got the sod for our summer production of Two By Two. He wasn't using it though.

Having not seeing Dick for many years iris sad to hear of his passing. I so often remembering him helping me deliver a sailboat fro South Florida to Hampton Roads it was such fun. He and Diane were such a huge part of our real estate company . Blessed

I went to high school with Dick and Diane's sons, and knew some of their exchange students. Later in life we met working on plays and serving on the board at Blackfriars Theatre. So sad to hear of his passing. Wishing peace and comfort to Diane and all of their loved ones.
