Richard "Dick" Vernon VanNostrand

With regrets, I just learned of Dicks passing. We share great-great-great grand-parents, and corresponded regarding ancestry, which Dick had a great deal of information that he shared freely with me.

I hope you forgive me for not going to the funarel, i did not forget, its just i should of went to school today. I wanted to so bad to attend your funeral, i hope you understand. Dick was a good man. God bless him.

I retain strong memories of seeing Dick on the field at Handy football games - camera in hand. I was in awe of his poise and maturity. Those characteristics continued to define his life. He was a wonderful family man, a dedicated church member and truly a man one could look up to. One could find no better way to see the times of Bay City through the decades than through his photography. He was a blessing to life.

Jan, Dave, and Amy, I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't believe he's gone. We loved him.

No words can truly ever say how losing someone who was so loved and known for everything he done in life, but Amazing could sum it up. May he be Blessed in Heaven as he was in life. R.I.P. Richard.....
