I met Mr. Visser back in 1975. I was introduced to him by Clyde Whipple, a deaf car painter. I started doing body work in the truck barn and after Clyde left Bill Pugliano joined as the painter. Together we started 'Technical: Body and Paint'. Mr. Visser taught me to weld; we used to put him on a homemade creeper and slide him under the UPS trucks to weld. I remember Norm and the accident, he passed on my 18th birthday. I have always cherished those memories and he will always have a special...

I would love to send my condolences to the family as kids we grew up together our parents were close friends. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by every one. Sending prayers and love to the family .

I remember when my dad (Doug Appler) used to live right next door to Richard, us kids would always help him and Elsie out with the chores or whatever needed to be done. We will all miss you Richard.

On behalf of the Riano Family, we were all very Saddened to hear of the passing of Dick, he was simply a great man! And he will truly be missed by all. Sending our condolences to Elsie and Shelly. He will live on forever in your hearts. I personally will cherish the memories that I had growing up and hanging out at the Visser Home. RIP Mr. Visser
