Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Rich Wainwright. I'm another of the Harding kids who grew up with Rich as a virtual member of our family. Rich was a fine person who treated everyone with kindness.

Its been a long time since I've last seen Rich. However, it was no surprise to hear that he had raised a fine family, had many friends and was a Christian man.

Our prayers are with you.

I was shocked and grieved to hear of your loss. Rich was our old neighbor and a great one. As others have commented, when time had passed and we would meet, it would be as if it was just yesterday!

I can imagine Rich and my late husband Bill, getting together in heaven, catching up on everything. Mostly though, praising Jesus Christ who saved both of them.

That doesn't mean that we don't grieve for and miss these people. My heart and prayers are with Rich's...

So sorry to hear of Rich's passing. My friend Pat (Lyons) Withee and I went to Evergreen High with Rich. It was a great time then. My condolences to the Wainwright family.

My thoughts are with Rich's family - he was a great guy. I went to Evergreen High School with him and as well as being a phenomenal basketball player, he was a lot of fun and a friend to everyone.

Rich, we lost contact slowly over the years but, when we did see each other it was as there was no gap at all. You were always a special guy and touched people you were around and made them the better for it. I've known you since late high school and have great memories. We played alot of B-ball together for many years. You will always be remembered in my heart and missed by all...till we meet again.

Rich,"Ricardo","Wick",
These are the names I came to know and love you by.
When I came to Portland in December of 1993 our relationship began as co workers. As time went by we became friends, then close friends, then closer friends.
I enjoyed your kind spirit, thoughtfulness, loving attitude, incredible dedication to your sons and family, along with your work ethic. You were a great employe for the Farmer Brothers Company and your hard work and influence were always respected...

Like the Sunshine Kid… Always with a smile and a little laugh. Not waiting to be asked for a hand, his help was usually there as soon as he saw there was a need.

The goodness that he has shown others will continue to live through those he has touched. Thank You Rich, for being Rich Wainwright!

I remember Rich from our days at Evergreen High School. His smile, his sense of humor ;-) and his love of sports made him widely-known and liked throughout the school.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grieving. May your memories, and the remembrances of friends, bring you comfort during the days ahead.

Uncle Rich, what a previlage it was to be part of your life! Always up for a challenge, positive, curious and gental spirit. When we think think of you it will be with warm loving thoughts and smiles on our faces.
