Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to Leah and all the Waitzer family for their loss.

I have so many wonderful memories with Richard and Leah discussing art, both at their home and when I was a curator at the Chrysler Museum. I was honored when Richard agreed to join the PAFA Collections Committee and always enjoyed his visits to Philadelphia.

Richard was a exceptional and generous man, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Richard ,
YOU will never be forgotten !!!!
All the wonderful blessings that no one knew of will always be remembered .... for always being Yourself.....

I was catching up on my newspaper reading today when I saw the obituary for Richard Waitzer. I was truly upset that I had missed the opportunity to honor his life by attending the celebration of his life at Ohef Sholom Temple. This man who touched so many lives truly had an impact on mine. Sadly I just learned of Richard's passing late yesterday. I want to take this opportunity to say that I admired Richard for his compassion, integrity, and generosity. As a retired banker, I can truly say that it was a privilege to have known and worked with Richard during my banking career. My wife and I offer our sincere condolences to you. Joe and Diane Kesterson.

I am saddened to learn of Richard's passing. I have known many people whose livelihoods were real estate and development. I have never known any who had the commitment to family, community and hard work that Richard had. He was, indeed, a class act and an example of how we should all live our lives. Brad, Eddie and Scott, you have been blessed to have such a remarkable mentor. Though my time with Richard was not great, and certainly not as much as I would have liked, I thoroughly enjoyed...

Val and I were so saddened to learn of Mr. Waitzer's passing yesterday.

He really was a remarkable man and I left the service today genuinely inspired by the Rabbi's reflections on his life.

We hope and pray that your sorrow can be replaced by the wonderful memories of a good life VERY well lived!

Peace be with you all.
