Richard and all of the Walkers were neighbors and friends "way back" on Beverly Hills Road; I recall many fond youthful stories, episodes, etc. I also purchased from Richard, the best horse ("Crook"), that I ever owned; Both Richard and I moved from Hattiesburg to New Orleans and although we lost contact, I will always remember and never forget!!

Richie and Lucretia,
We were saddened to read NOLA this morning and find out that your Dad passed away. We remember the good times with the house parties with your Dad's mesquite brisket, football games and road trips. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. Coach Al and Ms. Fran

I will cherish the memories Richard and I had growing up and attending school together.
