The late Maynard Newton would campaign vociferously for Dick Walterhouse, a former AAHS teammate. Maynard- and the Walterhouse name- would win and that tradition continues.

On behalf of the family of Arthur and Helen Parker I would like to extend our sincere sympathies to all of you. With the Ann Arbor connections and those to the University of Michigan football, my Dad knew Mr. Walterhouse for most of their lives. We all have fond memories of the magical summers spent at Huron Valley Swim Club. He leaves a great legacy for all of us to remember him and it's my wish that you all find comfort and peace in your hearts knowing that he had a life well lived.

To the entire Walterhouse family, my condolences and prayers for comfort and peace at this difficult time. My father, Reginald Batzer (now deceased), worked with Dick at McNamee Porter and Seeley. I remember he would come home with wonderful stories about Dick, and your family. He had the highest regard for Dick, and your family. What a wonderful man. On behalf of myself, and my father, I wish you Gods peace, and may you cherish the wonderful memories, to bring you through this time. A life...
