Not sure what to say?

Very sad that I just recently found out that Richard has passed. He was my First Platoon Leader and LT. Great memories of Richard serving together. When he got to our Unit 1/1 Cav 11th Lib. Americal Div. He rode with me on my Tank. We learned a lot about War together. Rest In Peace my friend. My Best to his family, He was a great guy. Edward Duncan

Richard and I were classmates at St. Thomas where we engaged in many long discussions in our attempts to fashion solutions for a more amicable World. Possessed of a brilliant mind and compassionate heart his smile and laugh were as disarming as his wit and precision of detail were eviscerating. I am privileged to have known Richard as a friend.

Richard and I served together in I Corps, RVN. We were both members of Hill 4-11 Association. Will miss you Brother. Rest in Peace.

Sorry to read the obituary about Richard Watson. I met him in the mid-1970's when he drove around in a VW square back. He was an intelligent man with strong opinions and I learned a lot. My deepest sympathy to his daughter & family. May peace be unto you.

He was my Lt. in E-Troop in Vietnam. He was the best Lieutenant I had over there.
I am in shock to hear of his death. As I write this with tears in my eyes I want to send my sincere condolences to his family.
I always enjoyed reading his posts on Facebook.

RICHARD WAS A GREAT PERSON AND FRIEND.i met him at FPL were we worked together over 35 years ago.he helped me on many occasions with legal aid,we watched football and had a beer together, and were both staunch republicans who loved this country,i miss you and your sense of humor and goodwill to all.

What a shock! Just got the word today. Goodbye, old friend. You will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family on Richard's loss.

I had the pleasure of attending law school with Richard. He was always friendly and eager to share his knowledge on the law. He was a genuinely nice person. Last year he appeared before me in court on a probate matter. I was impressed with his legal skills as an attorney. I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.

I had the honor to serve with Richard in Vietnam and to know him since those days. He always had time to discuss the political issues of the day. I will miss him and those discussions. Richard, you have completed your last patrol. May you rest in peace. I extend my sincere condolences to his daughter and entire family.
