I miss you so much Dad. I miss your voice, your laugh, your hugs, your calls, your visits... The way you noticed and appreciated the things I do, your passion for your South Florida teams, your love for your grand kids, the way you dressed, your scent, your smile, your eyes, your manicured hands, your knobby knees. This year of "firsts" without you has been so hard. No matter how old we are, a girl always needs her Daddy. I love you.

I will miss you Richard, you always made me laugh. And every time you walked in our office, you brought the sunshine in with you.

I miss you Dad... I wish you were here to see all of the blooming poinsettias you gave me over the years. Each time I hear the doorbell I think it's this year's plant being delivered. I love you.

I read The Miami Herald Obituaries with great sadness. I had the privilege of working with Dick when he was at Discovery Cruise Line. He was a great professional and I enjoyed our weekly meetings. He was always a gentleman and always very thoughtful. I am so sorry for your family's loss. He will be missed.
