Not sure what to say?

What a guy who was the most welcoming and generous man I have ever had the privilege to know.

Rest Richard, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. Career U.S. Air Force, retired as LT. Colonel.

Dear Alyce and Scott, I am so saddened by this news We have not seen one another for a very long time but I will always think of Doc and Alyce as my friends. God bless you and keep youLove Mimi

I just learned of Doc´s passing.. I´m so sad , he was such a nice man . I was his letter carrier for many years . He was always a joy to run into .

He was one the best and most loving, generous, and sincere man we have ever known. We are blessed because he was part of our lives.

So sorry to hear this news of Doc - much admired Station Director, Aircraft Operations Control Center for the Apollo Range Instrumented Aircraft fleet. The photo shows Doc (third from the left) running an Apollo simulation at Patrick AFB in 1967. https://honeysucklecreek.net/other_stations/ARIA/

Dear Alyce Brantley and I are so sorry to hear about Doc . We´ll always cherish our friendship over the years. Love to you and the family.

Dear Alyce, we are so sorry to hear of Doc´s passing. We have fond memories of time with him and Don telling stories.

Joe and I are already missing our baseball conversations and restaurant rendezvous. Alyce, we hope you keep up the pace with these and look forward to sharing lots of Doc stories while we're together. Warm regards, Ellen Schiff and Joe Sejut
